RELEASE ME!

I had a school assignment to make portraits of a classmate. I didn't have my camera with me so I decided to use my iPhone. You have to be creative with what you got, what can I say.
I was sort of sceptical because I had no idea how the pictures were going to turn out, and I didn't have a concept per se. But as we were taking pictures and playing around with ideas I wanted him to act as if he were a mental patient who just couldn't handle his confinement anymore.

So even though I didn't have a real camera, I still liked how it all turned out :)

HELLO BLOGWORLD

okay first off I'm going to apologize for abandoning my blog.. sorry guys I am ashamed really.
In the meantime what was going on in my life was. I applied for this art school called Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam), it's the best art & design school in my country. I didn't get in unfortunately, but I did get accepted to another academy I will be starting in 2 weeks. Im very exited about that. I'll be doing Fine Arts. I wanted to do Fashion Design but I think Fine Arts suites me better. And who knows maybe i'll end up doing Fashion afterall.

But anyways I've been working my ass off trying to get the money for school, I didn't have any time for my blog. But I'm backkkkkkk and I'll be posting lots of cool & fun stuff.

I'm currently obsessed with tattoos. I think they are so cool and it seems like they're getting more socially acceptable as time goes by. Of course I won't ever change my moms mind, she thinks they're hideous and I'm pretty sure alot of you guys feel like that.

"STANGE" IS STRANGE

Iekeliene Stange is a Dutch model (represent! LOL) with the coolest fashion sense. She always used to grab my attention with her bold colors and the way she mixes different styles.

Just thought I'd post some pictures of her. She kinda has this awkward thing about her, but I digg that so much! She's one of my new style icons.
